Media Jelly Design History

During the middle of the 1990’s, the Internet began its transition from a government and education network to a mass communication tool. This paradigm shift created a need for specialized talent to help businesses understand and leverage this new medium. Media Jelly was formed to address that need.

The company was founded in 1995 in Brooklyn, New York as Infrastructure Design. The company grew as a creative Web production house during the initial boom years of the Web and quickly gained a reputation as a source for effective interactive solutions. Infrastructure Design initially focused on providing exciting Web sites with compelling content that downloaded quickly. As the Web matured, the company kept pace with the issues and technologies of the wired world. The company quickly found the best way to maximize their client’s return on online investment.

In 1998, Infrastructure Design merged with The Network Edge, an Internet services firm based in Nassau County, New York. The Network Edge had provided corporations with Internet access, email, dedicated bandwidth, cabling, and electronic commerce solutions and had designed and launched Long Island’s first three "Smart Buildings" in 1997. The merge brought a new level of talent and experience to Infrastructure Design and helped to complement the company’s services with site hosting, database and e-commerce solutions, cabling, and systems integration services.

In 2000, Infrastructure Design changed its name to Media Jelly to better reflect its core strengths and creative vision. The company currently has offices in New York City, Los Angeles and Garden City, Long Island.
